Paramount+ has confirmed that “Avatar: Seven Havens” will premiere on 9 October 2026 and released its first teaser, introducing the franchise’s post-apocalyptic setting. The announcement clarifies the release date for the new animated series and reuses a date previously allocated to the “Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender” film, which was moved forward after leaking online.

The series follows Pavi, a young Earthbender revealed as the Avatar after Korra, who is hunted as humanity’s supposed destroyer following a devastating cataclysm. It will comprise two 13-episode books, although its release schedule remains undecided; Saheli Khan leads the voice cast, with original franchise creators Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko executive producing through Avatar Studios.
