## Key points

- No precise running time has been confirmed.
- The film is due in 2026.

## Summary

Directors Anthony and Joe Russo have described the running time of Avengers: Doomsday as “substantial”, indicating that Marvel’s next Avengers film is likely to be a lengthy release. The comment matters because the film is expected to bring together a large cast and set up a major phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

No exact running time has been announced, so the directors’ remark does not confirm whether the film will exceed earlier Avengers instalments. Avengers: Doomsday is scheduled for release in 2026 and is intended to precede Avengers: Secret Wars.
