AWS has introduced a simpler onboarding experience for new users after acknowledging that its established console has become intimidating and overly complex. The new interface is designed especially for AI-focused builders, reducing configuration work so they can begin developing and deploying projects more quickly.

New users can register using Google, GitHub or Apple credentials, receive an automatically created project and connect a coding agent through a prepared prompt. AWS applies default settings, recommends a monthly spending limit from $20, issues budget warnings and can pause projects before costs exceed the chosen cap.
