Be Decent, a New York-based ska ensemble, has revealed plans for a forthcoming album due in mid-September. The group assembles seasoned musicians from ska and punk circles, including vocalist and guitarist Jimmy Doyle, saxophonists Matt Mason, drummer Geoff Bickford, and bassist Ken Partridge, whose work includes authoring a book on 1990s ska history.
The new record's opening single, 'Human Nature,' showcases a guest appearance by established punk artist Ted Leo. Titled Now's The Time, the fifteen-song album arrives September 18 through Two Slices Records, with pre-orders now available. The release continues the band's work within the ska music tradition.
