## Summary

Discogs and Dortmund shop Black Plastic Records are putting nearly 1,300 rare Beatles records from a private collection up for sale. The collection was built over decades by a devoted fan and acquired by the shop from his estate after his death; its sale gives collectors access to an unusually broad archive of British and European editions.

The collection contains nearly 1,500 records, with around 1,300 included in the first sale, available exclusively through Discogs from 8 a.m. ET on Friday, 30 October, for the first ten days. Highlights include a 1963 radio promotional pressing of *Please Please Me*, estimated at 250 copies, an early “From Me to You” promo, and a well-preserved 1970 *Let It Be* box set; the records also show how Beatles releases varied between countries.
