Beatport’s Dance Industry Conference Is Returning to Los Angeles This Fall

Billboard · 1 day ago

Beatport is bringing its dance music industry conference, Beatport Connect, back to Los Angeles for a second year, expanding the event to two dedicated programming rooms after running a single space in 2025. The move reflects the growing scale of the gathering, which brings together artists, labels, promoters and technology firms to discuss the direction of electronic music, and follows the brand's inaugural New York edition held in July.

The conference will take place at the W Hollywood on 25 September, with one room covering cultural, technological and industry trends and the other offering practical career-development sessions featuring advice from artists and executives on branding, business and partnerships. Confirmed speakers include figures from Warner Records, WME, Ninja Tune, SoundCloud and Notion, alongside artists such as Kitty Amor, MPH, salute and Wuki, with more names to be announced. Topics will span synch licensing, festival trends and sustainable artist careers, with brand partners including Gigwell and Beatport.io in attendance; tickets start at $50 and are on sale now.
