Ben Affleck’s new Netflix thriller, “Animals”, is due to arrive in October, with Affleck directing and starring in the film. The first preview has been released, introducing a kidnapping plot centred on a family facing increasingly desperate choices.

The story follows a Los Angeles mayoral candidate and his wife after their son is kidnapped. As they try to raise the ransom, they become caught in deception and must make decisions that could destroy their lives and relationship.
