Beyoncé marks her birthday with deluxe remastered reissue of ‘B’DAY’
Beyoncé has released a deluxe remastered reissue of her second studio album, 'B'Day', to coincide with her birthday. The original album was first released in September 2006 to mark her 25th birthday, and this new 20th Anniversary Edition arrives as she continues to build anticipation around the still-unconfirmed "Act III", the rumoured final instalment of the trilogy that began with 'Renaissance' and 'Cowboy Carter'.
The reissue features remastered songs and re-coloured 4K music videos, alongside previously unseen photos from the original New Orleans shoot. It also introduces new material, including a first-ever collaboration with Colombian artist Maluma on 'Cuerpo Tumbao (Get Me Bodied)', which samples Celia Cruz, and a track featuring the late Selena, marking one of the rare occasions her estate has approved use of her music. The edition also comes with previously unreleased B-sides, a 60-page booklet and two collectible art prints.
