BigXthaPlug Pleads No Contest in 2025 Weapon Case

Billboard · 2 hours ago

Rapper BigXthaPlug, whose legal name is Xavier Landum, has received six months of deferred adjudication over a 2025 unlawful weapon case in Dallas County. The ruling relates to a Class A misdemeanor charge of unlawfully carrying a weapon, stemming from an alleged offence on 21 August 2025, and is separate from a more recent arrest that made headlines earlier this month.

Appearing in Dallas County Criminal Court No. 4 on 28 August, Landum entered a plea of no contest, with the court finding evidence supported his guilt but withholding a formal conviction while placing him on community supervision. He will serve six months of probation, with no fine imposed and three days of time served credited; his supervision is due to end on 28 February 2027. The case follows a traffic stop in August 2025 involving allegations of marijuana and firearm possession. Landum, known for the hit "All the Way" featuring Bailey Zimmerman, has not commented on the ruling.
