## Summary

A Batpod motorcycle used in Christopher Nolan’s 2008 film *The Dark Knight* is expected to fetch up to £900,000 at auction. Its sale highlights the value collectors place on recognisable film props and brings together memorabilia from several major films.

The Batpod, featured in a chase involving Christian Bale’s Batman and Heath Ledger’s Joker, also appeared in *The Dark Knight Rises* and is estimated at £450,000 to £900,000. The 4–6 December auction, run by Propstore online and at Bafta in London, also includes Bale’s *Batman Begins* Batsuit, estimated at £125,000 to £250,000, and Indiana Jones items from stuntman Vic Armstrong’s collection.
