A 32-year-old man has been charged with causing the death of a four-year-old boy following a crash between an off-road motorcycle and a car in Newark, Nottinghamshire. Brian Cameron faces charges of causing death by dangerous driving, driving while disqualified, and causing death by driving while uninsured and unlicensed, and is due before Nottingham Magistrates' Court on Wednesday. The boy was pronounced dead at the scene on Churchill Drive on Sunday evening at around 6pm, where he had been riding as a passenger on the motorbike with a 24-year-old man, who was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and remains in hospital with serious injuries. Police believe the bike was travelling in convoy with a second motorcycle, whose rider fled before officers arrived, leading to a second arrest on Monday. Floral tributes have since been left near the scene, and Nottinghamshire Police have asked for the family's privacy to be respected while investigators continue their work.
