## Summary

Billy Strings was struck on the head by an object thrown from the audience during a concert in Fishers, Indiana, on 6 August. He was not visibly injured, but reacted angrily and asked the crowd to identify the person responsible, using an explicit remark; the incident highlights ongoing safety concerns around objects being thrown at performers.

The bluegrass and folk musician was speaking between songs during the first of three scheduled shows at Fishers Event Center when the object hit him. Footage from the concert circulated online, while the item and the thrower’s identity remained unknown. Strings has also been using a wheelchair at times after breaking his leg in a backstage skateboarding accident earlier this year.
