Chicago trio Black Duck have shared "Funeral In My Brain," a new song made in collaboration with Basque musician Elena Setién, taken from their forthcoming joint album. It follows the previously released lead single "Land Of The Many Eyes" and marks the band's first full collaborative record since their self-titled 2023 debut.

Black Duck comprises Douglas McCombs (also of Tortoise and Eleventh Dream Day), Bill MacKay and Charles Rumback. "Funeral In My Brain" is a six-minute track based on an Emily Dickinson poem, likened to a relaxed take on Patti Smith's Horses era. The full album, Black Duck With Elena Setién, is due for release on 28th August via Thrill Jockey.
