## Key points

- Black Stone Cherry’s follow-up EP is recorded and awaiting mixing.
- The band is still writing riffs for future songs.
- Two EPs allow more frequent, concise releases.

## Summary

Black Stone Cherry guitarist Ben Wells says the band has completed a second EP to follow this year’s “Celebrate”; it now needs mixing. The update signals that more new music could arrive before the band would typically finish a full album and its extended touring cycle.

Wells said Chris Robertson and engineer Jordan Westfall are expected to mix the songs soon, while the band continues developing riffs and other ideas. The group aims to keep its familiar sound while allowing room to branch out. Robertson said releasing two EPs lets the band share concise batches of music more often, reflecting how quickly audiences consume new releases and the long cycle of recording and touring an album.
