Prime Video has announced that Blade Runner 2099, a limited-series continuation of the Blade Runner franchise, will premiere on 25 November 2026. The series moves the story 50 years beyond Blade Runner 2049, bringing the franchise’s conflict between humans and replicants to a new era and expanding it for television.

All eight episodes will be released on the same day. Hunter Schafer plays Cora, a fugitive who adopts the identity of a Blade Runner, while Michelle Yeoh plays Olwen, a replicant nearing the end of her life; they pursue a runaway whose secret could destabilise Los Angeles. Silka Luisa is showrunner, Ridley Scott is an executive producer, and the supporting cast includes Tom Burke, Dimitri Abold, Lewis Gribben, Katelyn Rose Downey and Daniel Rigby.
