Amazon’s Blade Runner 2099 will premiere on Prime Video on 25 November, with all eight episodes released simultaneously. The series expands the Blade Runner universe beyond Blade Runner 2049 and arrives as interest in cyberpunk television appears to be growing.

Set 50 years after Blade Runner 2049, the story follows fugitive Cora as she becomes a Blade Runner and partners with the dying Replicant Olwen to pursue a runaway whose secret could destabilise Los Angeles. Michelle Yeoh and Hunter Schafer star; Silka Luisa leads the series, while original film director Ridley Scott is an executive producer.
