Blue singer Lee Ryan has announced that he and his wife Verity are expecting their fifth child together, making it his seventh child overall. The couple revealed the news via a creative Instagram video set to the song "Everybody Get Up" by rival boyband Five, featuring the pair miming the lyrics whilst their existing children appear in the footage, culminating in Verity holding an ultrasound photo. The announcement has been met with congratulations from Ryan's bandmates.

Ryan, 43, and Verity, 35, have been married for two years, having held a legal ceremony in Gibraltar in 2022 followed by a larger celebration in Seville, Spain in October 2024. In addition to their four young children together, Ryan has two teenagers from previous relationships: daughter Bluebell, 16, and son Rayn, 15. The couple relocated to the Costa del Sol in Spain four years ago, where Verity, an Ariana Grande impersonator who previously appeared on The X Factor in 2009, now focuses on family life.
