## Summary

James Tynion IV and his company Tiny Onion have signed a first-look deal with Blumhouse Atomic, expanding their existing collaboration on horror adaptations. The partnership’s first project is an adaptation of Tynion’s comic universe *Exquisite Corpses*, which is being developed for both film and animation.

Created with artist Michael Walsh, *Exquisite Corpses* follows a deadly contest staged every five years by 13 wealthy American families, whose recruited killers battle in an unsuspecting town. The comic has sold more than one million copies in its first 18 months, and its initial 13-issue series has spawned three spin-offs, with another mini-series planned for next year. Blumhouse and Tiny Onion are also developing *Something Is Killing the Children*, with Craig Zobel attached to direct.
