Da’Vinchi, known for playing Terry Flenory in Starz’s BMF, has joined NBC’s Chicago Fire as a series regular for its 15th season. He will play Marcus Burke, a firefighter candidate at Firehouse 51, adding a new character as the long-running procedural enters a period of cast continuity and leadership change.

Season 15 premieres on 7 October at 9pm and will pick up after a Season 14 cliffhanger involving an explosion at a burning storage facility, leaving Firehouse 51’s personnel in danger. The season also follows uncertainty over Severide’s next role and Herrmann’s possible retirement, while Victor Terharn succeeds Andrea Newman as showrunner after her 14-season tenure.
