Bob Seger’s 2006 album Face The Promise will be released on vinyl for the first time on 18 September, in an expanded edition marking its 20th anniversary. The reissue also includes the previously unreleased song “Little Jane”, giving fans new material alongside the album’s long-awaited vinyl debut.

Originally released after Seger’s 11-year break following 1995’s It’s a Mystery, Face The Promise was his first studio album since 1975’s Beautiful Loser not to feature the Silver Bullet Band. Seger self-produced it in Nashville with session musicians, and described his prolific songwriting habit at the time as a way to avoid writer’s block.
