One Nation leads Labor in Queensland and narrowly in NSW
A quarterly analysis of Newspoll data reports a sharp rise in support for Pauline Hanson’s One Nation, particularly in Queensland and New South Wales. One Nation received 36% in Queensland, ahead of Labor on 25% and the Coalition on 19%; in NSW, it recorded 31%, narrowly ahead of Labor on 30%. Hanson was preferred as prime minister to Anthony Albanese in Queensland, but Albanese led nationally by 56% to 44%; his net approval rating was -22.
