Fans of Welsh singer Bonnie Tyler will be able to watch a livestreamed celebration of her life following her death on 8 July at the age of 75. The service, for family and invited guests, will be held at St Mary's Church, Swansea, on 17 August and streamed via the star's official website, with television screens also set up outside the church for those who travel to attend. Tyler, best known for "Total Eclipse of the Heart", died unexpectedly in a Portugal hospital as a result of an illness she was being treated for, having earlier been placed in an induced coma after emergency intestinal surgery in May.

Before the funeral, her coffin will be brought to her Mumbles home on 15 August at 15:30 BST, with mourners invited to line Newton Road to pay their respects. After the church service, the cortege will travel through her hometown of Skewen, Neath Port Talbot, at around 13:20 BST on 17 August. Tyler, born Gaynor Hopkins, is survived by her husband of more than 50 years, Robert Sullivan, and has been remembered by figures including Catherine Zeta-Jones, the Prince of Wales and Sir Cliff Richard as a "proud Welsh icon".
