Ashley McBryde celebrates her 43rd birthday today, marking nearly two decades of progress in her country music career. After learning guitar as a child and writing songs through high school, McBryde initially attended the University of Arkansas but left college to pursue music full-time following encouragement from a university professor. She relocated to Nashville in 2007 and spent years performing in local venues whilst releasing independent albums, gradually building a regional following through extensive touring across the American South.

McBryde's career accelerated significantly in 2016 when her independently-released EP captured country artist Eric Church's attention, resulting in a high-profile viral collaboration that led to a recording contract with Warner Music Nashville. Her commercially released debut album "Girl Going Nowhere" arrived in 2018, followed by four additional studio releases.
