Taylor Sheridan’s 2017 crime thriller Wind River is now streaming on Netflix in the United States. The film, starring Jeremy Renner and Elizabeth Olsen, follows investigators pursuing a murder case on a remote Native American reservation, and is highlighted as a lesser-known part of Sheridan’s film career amid his current television success.

Sheridan is best known recently for his Paramount television projects, including Lioness and expansions of the Yellowstone franchise, but he also wrote films such as Sicario and Wind River. Collider compares Wind River’s investigative dynamic and dark tone to Bosch and True Detective, and says Netflix has not announced a date for its removal from the service.
