## Summary

The Berlinale will host the world premiere of Brett Morgen’s immersive David Bowie concert experience, “Stage”, at Berlin’s Uber Arena. It centres on restored footage from Bowie’s 1978 Isolar II tour and combines cinema, lighting and spatial audio to place audiences inside a concert setting.

Morgen found the original camera negatives while making “Moonage Daydream”, his authorised documentary about Bowie. The three-screen production uses large-scale projections, transparent LED screens, lighting by Patrick Woodroffe and a specially created 7.1 surround sound mix by Paul Massey. The premiere is scheduled for 14 February 2027, during the 77th Berlinale, which runs from 10 to 21 February.
