## Key points

- Chourio has 10 hits through four World Series games, matching Babe Ruth.
- Tampa Bay won Game 4, 4-3, in 12 innings.
- Milwaukee must win Game 5 to keep its title hopes alive.

## Summary

Jackson Chourio has matched Babe Ruth’s record of 10 hits through the first four games of a World Series, marking a rare achievement for the 22-year-old Milwaukee Brewers outfielder. The feat highlights Chourio’s outstanding postseason form, although Milwaukee lost Game 4 to Tampa Bay and must now win again to keep its championship bid on track.

Ruth reached 10 hits in the first four games of the 1928 Series, which the Yankees swept; Chourio is 10 for 20 in this Fall Classic. He also became the youngest player since Joe Garagiola in 1946 to collect four hits in a World Series game, and has batted .291 with two home runs and nine runs batted in across 12 postseason games. Tampa Bay won Game 4 by 4-3 in the 12th inning, forcing a fifth game, with the Brewers seeking their first World Series title.
