Brit, 26, dies after ‘being shot multiple times’ in the US: Murder police hunting ‘gunman’
A 26-year-old British man, Jaime Thomas Stephen Lomas, has died after being shot multiple times in Washington State, prompting a homicide investigation. The case remains active, with police yet to make any arrests, while the Foreign Office says it is supporting his family.
Deputies were called to a reported domestic disturbance near Lake Youngs, east of Kent, at about 12.20pm on 22 August. The King County Medical Examiner’s Office ruled Mr Lomas’s death a homicide after finding he had suffered multiple gunshot wounds; major crimes detectives are investigating.
