A 31-year-old British woman was fatally stabbed at a railway station in Rosenheim, Upper Bavaria, in the early hours of Sunday morning. Police arrested a 27-year-old German man from the Fürstenfeldbruck district at the scene immediately after the attack, and he is now being held on suspicion of murder. The killing has prompted a homicide investigation in Germany, though the motive and any relationship between the victim and suspect remain unclear.

According to the Upper Bavaria South Police Headquarters, the attack took place at around 12.50am, with the woman later dying in hospital from her injuries.
