Hollywood guests attended the opening of Mother’s first stand-alone shop in Beverly Hills despite high temperatures in Los Angeles. The event marked an expansion for the fashion brand, with founders Lela Becker and Tim Kaeding hosting a celebrity-filled launch party for the store, nicknamed “The Big Boy”.

Attendees included Brittany Snow, Ava Phillippe, Dave Grohl, Alexandra Shipp, Jasmine Tookes and Daphne Guinness. Guests were served pink margaritas, champagne, fried chicken sandwiches and pizza, while DJ Mei Kwok played a remix of Dolly Parton’s “Jolene” following news of Parton’s death earlier that day; the party also featured photo opportunities in a vintage phone booth and cigarettes displayed on silver platters.
