Brooks Koepka has described his first season back on the PGA Tour as "pretty pathetic" after failing to qualify for the FedExCup Playoffs. The four-time major champion left LIV Golf to rejoin the PGA Tour this year, but a disappointing campaign culminating in a poor showing at the Wyndham Championship left him well outside the qualifying positions, underlining how far his form has slipped since his dominant major-winning years.

Koepka closed his final round at the Wyndham Championship with a 70, leaving him 3-under for the tournament and tied for 67th, some 19 strokes behind winner Michael Brennan. The result dropped him to 94th in the FedExCup standings, short of the top 70 needed to advance to the St Jude Championship in Memphis, the first event of the playoffs.
