Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen Launches Out of Pocket Studios
Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has launched Out of Pocket Studios, a new media company through which he will back entertainment, commercial and experiential projects as CEO and executive producer. The venture expands on a partnership Allen formed with Skydance Sports, part of Paramount Skydance, in January last year, and marks the latest example of a top athlete moving into content production.
Day-to-day operations will be led by president Lindsey Cohen, a former Meadowlark Media and DAZN executive who began her career at CAA. The studio's opening slate includes "America's Tailgate", a Labor Day special airing on CBS with hosts including Nate Burleson, Melanie Collins and Whitney Cummings; "NFL Play Action", a weekly football-analysis show debuting on Paramount+ on 9 September; and "The Buffalo Miracle", a documentary from Ben Proudfoot about a McDonald's manager who sheltered stranded residents during Buffalo's fatal 2022 Christmas Eve blizzard. A comedy series conceived by Allen has also already been sold and is in development.
