A bus crashed on the coastal road between the Red Sea resort towns of Dahab and Nuweiba in Egypt's South Sinai region on Wednesday morning, killing 16 people and injuring 28 others. Health officials said 20 ambulances responded to the scene, with the most seriously injured taken to hospital; 16 people were pronounced dead at the site. Egypt's health minister, Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, said all measures were being taken to ensure the injured received the highest level of care, and the cause of the collision has not yet been confirmed.
