Bus driver is ‘attacked and thrown out of his vehicle’ before ‘robber’ smashes into multiple cars while driving on the wrong side of the road
A bus driver was allegedly assaulted and thrown from his vehicle in Madeley, Telford, before a suspected robber took control of the bus. The vehicle was driven against traffic and collided with several cars, prompting police to stop it and arrest a man in his 20s on suspicion of robbery and dangerous driving.
The incident occurred at about 6.37pm on Friday, September 18, along Court Street, Park Way and the High Street. The driver suffered minor injuries and no other injuries were reported; police are appealing for dashcam, CCTV, mobile phone or doorbell footage from witnesses.
