"Max, Min & Meowzaki," a bilingual Hindi-English feature by director Padmakumar Narasimhamurthy, arrives in Indian cinemas through Platoon One Films on July 24. The film premiered at Busan Film Festival, was selected for the best-of-fest category at Palm Springs, and has collected awards from international festivals including Stuttgart, Cincinnati, and Berlin's Indo-German film week.

The narrative follows three generations of the Mahadevan family navigating singlehood simultaneously, weaving together stories about romantic entanglements, family obligations, and personal transformation, with a cat character named after animator Miyazaki Hayao. The ensemble cast includes Adil Hussain, Mandira Bedi, and Medha Shankr, with producers Samiksha and Shael Oswal of SSO Productions backing what distributor Shiladitya Bora describes as uncompromised Indian cinema aimed at theatrical audiences.
