Byron Allen’s Freestyle Releasing Acquires ‘Hello Beautiful’ For Theatrical Release (Exclusive)

The Hollywood Reporter · 2 hours ago

Byron Allen's Freestyle Releasing has acquired the drama Hello Beautiful for a limited theatrical release beginning 25 September, opting for cinemas over an initial streaming launch. The film, directed by Ziad H. Hamzeh, is based on cancer survivor Christine Handy's best-selling novel Walk Besides Me and follows a supermodel whose seemingly perfect life is upended by a breast cancer diagnosis, testing her marriage and sense of identity.

Tricia Helfer stars as the model, Willow, alongside Tarek Bishara as her husband, Khalil, with the story exploring how the couple navigate fear and uncertainty together. Handy said she wanted to give women facing a similar diagnosis a story of hope rather than despair, while Hamzeh described it as a love story tested by unimaginable circumstances. The film is produced by Hamzeh and Michael Espinosa, with Handy and Timothy Danis as executive producers, and the distribution deal was negotiated with Zac Reeder of Lucky 27 Media.
