This includes Trump-endorsed candidate Byron Donalds, whose campaign website has undergone a notable redesign with Trump endorsement banners and imagery removed from the homepage. The trend reflects a strategic shift from primary elections, where Trump's backing is crucial, to general elections where candidates wish to emphasise local issues and their own records.

Similar changes have been made by candidates across several states, including Ralph Alvarado in Kentucky, Mike Beltran in Florida, Mike Bouchard in Michigan, Joe Mitchell in Iowa, Carlos De La Cruz in Texas, Young Kim in California and James Gallagher in California. Whilst Trump references have not been entirely eliminated from these candidates' sites, they have been moved to less prominent positions. The campaigns argue these changes simply reflect repositioning towards local concerns such as cost of living, taxes and healthcare, and the candidates maintain their support for Trump and his policies.
