California mom welcomes baby in Jack in the Box parking lot after little girl couldn’t wait
A Southern California couple welcomed their daughter, Valentina Isla Campbell, in a Jack in the Box car park after labour progressed too quickly for them to reach hospital. Firefighters assisted with the delivery after Michelle Cisneros and Darren Campbell called emergency services, giving the family an unusual but successful birth story.
Valentina was born healthy last Friday, 15 days before her due date. Cisneros initially thought her contractions might be Braxton Hicks, but the couple realised during their journey that there was not enough time to return to the delivery room and stopped at the Orange County fast-food restaurant.
