Campfire Studios Promotes Ross Girard To Partner, Ups Allyson Holloway
Campfire Studios, the production company behind Netflix's "America's Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders" and other unscripted hits, has promoted two senior staff members. Chief operating officer Ross Girard has been named a partner in the company, while development executive Allyson Holloway has been elevated to VP, Creative. The announcement follows strong momentum for the studio, including a season four renewal for "America's Sweethearts" and the launch of its sports documentary "Untold: The Testimony of Vince Young."
Girard joined Campfire in 2017, rising from EVP of production to COO in 2022, and has worked on documentaries including "Low Country: The Murdaugh Dynasty" and "Heaven's Gate: The Cult of Cults," winning two News and Documentary Emmy Awards along the way. Holloway joined the company in 2023 from Disney and FX Networks, and has contributed to projects such as "Untold: The Testimony of Vince Young" and NBC's "Dream Big: The Michelle Wie Story." Campfire, backed by Wheelhouse and run by Ross Dinerstein, is also behind Netflix titles including "The Menendez Brothers" and the upcoming Judd Apatow-directed "Norm: The Tale of Norm MacDonald."
