Carrie Okay, a new supergroup comprising LØLØ, salem ilese and Alna, have released their debut single, ‘High In A Drugstore’. The song combines early-2000s soft pop-rock influences with contemporary production, using heartbreak and emotional disorientation as its central themes.

The trio said the track was inspired by the strange situations people can find themselves in after a break-up, including the irony of seeking relief in a drugstore where there is no cure for missing someone. They chose to form the band after deciding they liked the song too much to give it to another artist, and worked with producer Andrew Goldstein, who praised their fast collaborative songwriting and natural three-part harmonies.
