Carson Daly addressed public uncertainty about his future on The Voice by explaining that Keke Palmer's appointment to host a celebrity spinoff does not signal his departure from the long-running singing competition. Daly stated Palmer was the better fit for the new format, which requires a different hosting approach suited to established celebrities rather than emerging talent, and praised her qualifications for the role.

Daly will remain host of the traditional Voice whilst assuming a producing role on the celebrity edition debuting in spring 2027. His 30-season, 16-year tenure as both host and producer of the main show continues unchanged, whilst the celebrity spinoff will feature coaches Joe Jonas, Queen Latifah, and Riley Green overseeing performances from actors, musicians, influencers, athletes, and comedy figures.
