Chaos erupts at salmon-colored Memphis home as woman allegedly lures victim to backyard before he’s stripped, shot and beaten by four suspects including ‘one-legged Jay’
A Memphis man allegedly lured a victim to a house, where four suspects stripped, shot and assaulted him during a dispute over money used to buy a vehicle. The incident matters because it involved serious violence and multiple alleged offences, while only two suspects have so far been arrested.
Police allege Joseph Polk shot the victim in the thigh and that two other men beat him, knocking out several teeth; the victim later identified suspects at hospital. Polk faces charges including especially aggravated robbery, firearm and vehicle offences, while Bailey Jobin faces an especially aggravated robbery charge; an alleged accomplice known as “one-legged Jay” remains at large. Polk was also reportedly linked to a previous 2024 police chase involving a stolen vehicle, although those allegations are separate.
