## Key points

- The 0-7 Chargers are reportedly not trading players before the deadline.
- Mina Kimes says the team should plan for 2027.
- Their main change has been moving play-calling to the booth.

## Summary

The Chargers are reportedly unwilling to trade any players before the NFL’s 10 November deadline, despite being the league’s only winless team at 0-7. ESPN analyst Mina Kimes criticised the reported stance, arguing the club should focus on rebuilding for 2027 rather than turning down offers.

The team has made few changes as it struggles, with offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel set to call plays from the booth instead of the sideline. Head coach Jim Harbaugh has continued to say the Chargers are working to fix their problems; they face the Texans in Week 9 and could fall to 0-8.
