Pop star Charli XCX has revealed that the sole guest feature on her forthcoming album, Music, Fashion, Film, is the Canadian body-horror director David Cronenberg, who appears on the closing track "No One Lasts Forever". The reveal followed her teasing an unguessable collaboration in a French television interview, and it caps a run of promotion for the record, which arrives on 24 July on Atlantic.

Charli has already released the singles "Rock Music", "SS26" and "Wink Wink", and unveiled the full 11-track listing via a series of tweets. Her Cronenberg fandom is longstanding: she praised his latest film, The Shrouds, and called herself "a big Cronenberg stan" during a recent visit to the Criterion Closet. The pairing also nods to the "Cronenberg Summer" caption that flashed on screen during her Coachella set last year.
