A statue of the late conservative activist Charlie Kirk, unveiled outside Turning Point USA's headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona, on the first anniversary of his death, has been vandalised with red spray paint just days later. Police were called to the scene on Sunday morning after the defacement was reported, though no suspects have yet been identified. The incident highlights ongoing tensions surrounding Kirk's legacy following his assassination a year ago.

The statue was found defaced on Sunday morning, alongside a separate memorial featuring Kirk's image next to a religious quote, which was also vandalised with a large red "X" drawn over his face and paint covering the text. Kirk, a 31-year-old father and close ally of President Donald Trump, was fatally shot on 10 September 2025 while speaking at a Turning Point USA event at Utah Valley University. The Daily Mail has approached both the Phoenix Police Department and Turning Point USA for comment.
