American noise-rock band Chat Pile have released a new track titled 'PEN I S MALL', taken from their forthcoming second album 'Who Loves The Sun'. Described by the band as their heaviest song to date, the roughly six-minute piece of industrial-tinged hardcore continues the group's bleak, capitalism-critiquing tone that has drawn attention within the heavy-music scene.

The song's title and subject matter reportedly stem from a period when vocalist Raygun (Ray B.) worked as a maintenance man at a shopping mall in the band's home city of Oklahoma City. Bassist Stin recalled that Ray B. "screamed himself into a pretty brutal headache" while recording it, while the vocalist reflected on how such a job could be enjoyable were survival in the United States not so harsh under capitalism. 'Who Loves The Sun' is due for release on 4 September via The Flenser and features ten tracks, including 'Creature', 'Deep Blue' (already available) and 'Family Funeral', with 'PEN I S MALL' sitting fourth on the listing.
