## Summary

Chvrches have released ‘Overthinker’, the second single from their forthcoming album, and debuted it live at a small Glasgow charity show. The song turns inward, exploring complicated family dynamics and the tension of a relationship that can feel both supportive and difficult.

The trio played to 100 fans at Assumption Studios, where the album was recorded, and performed eight new songs during a 14-track set. Biffy Clyro’s Simon Neil joined them for two unreleased tracks and the band’s ‘Machines’. ‘All The King’s Men’, Chvrches’ fifth album and first since 2021’s ‘Screen Violence’, is due on 22 January; a UK, Ireland and North America tour is also planned, including a London show on 6 May.
