‘Chicago Fire’ Adds Matthew Daddario For Season 15

Deadline · 3 hours ago

Chicago Fire has cast Matthew Daddario for its upcoming 15th season, joining the NBC drama as a firefighter candidate. Deadline confirmed the casting after new series regular Da'Vinchi, who plays a character of the same rank, teased the addition on Instagram with a photo of himself, Daddario and Brandon Larracuente, who plays Vasquez.

No full Season 15 logline has been released yet, but the previous season ended on a cliffhanger involving an explosion at a storage facility fire, with the fate of Firehouse 51's chief decision left unresolved. Daddario, best known for playing Alec Lightwood across three seasons of Shadowhunters and with credits including Blue Bloods and Why Women Kill, joins a show now overseen by new showrunner Victor Terharn, who takes over from Andrea Newman after her exit following 14 seasons.
