## Summary

Actor Dermot Mulroney has confirmed he is leaving NBC's "Chicago Fire" after two seasons, calling the departure "bitter" while speaking publicly for the first time about the exit at the Flashback Weekend Chicago Horror Convention. His character, Chief Pascal, will be written off during the upcoming Season 15, with Mulroney set to appear in just one further episode before leaving the long-running drama.

Mulroney joined the Wolf Entertainment and Universal Television series in Season 13, taking over following Eamonn Walker's departure, and had already stepped away for the latter half of Season 14 before returning for that season's finale. He praised the cast and crew as "incredible" and said writers gave him a "high challenge" storyline for his send-off, while reflecting on how much the show means to first responders and their families. Season 15 premieres on 7 October at 9pm ET on NBC.
