## Summary

Chinese singer-songwriter Chen Chusheng commissioned Hong Kong-based artist Li Erpeng to create 14 paintings for the vinyl release of his album “Wasteland of Wonders”. The collaboration turns the physical record into a visual as well as musical experience, with the artwork intended to express the album’s emotions, fractures and growth.

Some paintings respond to particular tracks, while others developed from stories and imagined scenes that emerged during the process. The vinyl received QQ Music’s “Double Diamond” sales certification on 9 June, the day pre-orders opened. Chen, who won Hunan TV’s “Singer 2025”, drew about 50,000 fans to a Nanchang stadium concert in April 2026; all tickets sold within 24 minutes, and a local authority attributed nearly RMB1 billion in consumer spending to the event.
