Circular has unveiled its Ring 3 Series, the successor to last year's Ring 2, adding contactless payments and vibrating alerts to its smart ring line-up. The range comprises two models: a Pro version that retains the Ring 2's health-tracking capabilities, including FDA-cleared atrial fibrillation detection, and a smaller, more limited Slim option, giving buyers a choice between full functionality and a more discreet design.

Both rings gain vibrating alerts for alarms, medication reminders and breathing exercises, plus an integrated NFC chip for tap-to-pay purchases. The titanium-built Ring 3 Pro is slimmer than its predecessor and now lasts up to 12 days per charge, up from seven, despite a smaller battery, with its charging case offering five to six extra top-ups. The Ring 3 Slim uses a biocompatible epoxy rather than titanium and lasts up to 10 days, but drops the ECG sensor and AFib detection while keeping heart rate, SpO₂, skin temperature, sleep and HRV tracking. Pricing has not yet been revealed, and both models are expected to launch in early 2027.
